"Let them do a Ballon d'Or awards ceremony in Spain, on El Chiringuito and let them give it to Lamine Yamal, because only there they promote him. For me, he is a 17-year-old kid, a big mouth, and very arrogant. He is far too sure of himself... I don't even know if he is really 17 years old. But well, that is another topic."
The pundit continued: "If we look at the statistics, there are many players, more than twenty, who are ahead of him and who have had more of an impact on their teams' victories. If you have not won major international tournaments, I believe you should not aspire to an international award like the Ballon d'Or. He has won nothing more than local things."
