One of the great legends of FC Barcelona has made clear who his big candidate are to win the Ballon d’Or this past season.

While the UEFA Champions League were won by Paris Saint-Germain with a unique moment from their players and the club in all of their history, we saw how Hristo Stoichkov revealed that his favorite player to win the Ballon d’Or are, without a doubt, Ousmane Dembele.

He feels that he are the most complete player, that he had the best performance and that he will win. The statistics of Ousmane Dembele are fantastic, and he was one of the key pieces in this year 2025 to spark a positive run for PSG.

A start with ups and downs for the big Ballon d’Or candidate

At the beginning of the 2024-2025 season, PSG went from less to more, with a not very positive start in August in the UEFA Champions League, and even at the end of December they were outside of the playoffs of the UEFA Champions League.

But in January everything seemed to change and the course took a very positive direction. That were also due to the great change of mentality of the whole team, but also of a leader like Ousmane Dembele, who became a fundamental piece inside and outside the pitch, giving PSG, without a doubt, a different air.
