On the occasion of a media tour at this start of the season, Ousmane Dembélé has given several interviews. In the course of these, the world champion evoked his personal ambition, and the collective ones with PSG.
As if it were a politician approaching elections, Ousmane Dembélé carried out a media tour these last days at less than a month from the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
After having spoken for the British media Four Four Two, he spoke now for the newspaper Le Monde, and the number 10 of PSG evoked, among other things, what he himself calls "the grail, an exceptional trophy for a football player".
Outside of the subject of the Ballon d'Or, Ousmane Dembélé also mentioned the collective ambitions of Paris Saint-Germain:
"We still have a lot of motivation. We have a young group, which still has hunger for victories. What we lived last season, we want to relive it every year. We want to become champions. Now then, champions win big trophies like the Champions League two or three times in their career".
In the sense of the comments received from Luis Enrique, the 28-year-old attacker insists on the fact of "returning to work", like the discourse of the Spanish technician:
"The successes of the past season form part of history, but it is necessary to forget them if one wants to relive an extraordinary season".
