Nine years after leaving PSG, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back in the red and blue shirt... virtually. The Swede is indeed one of the headline acts of EA Sports FC 26, which releases on 26th September, and is part of the new icons available in Ultimate Team mode.
After a disappointing edition 25, EA Sports FC 26 (formerly FIFA) is under pressure to deliver. For this new instalment, releasing in France on 26th September, EA Sports has decided to bank on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's "aura" - featured in the trailer unveiled on 16th July.
We see Zlatan Ibrahimovic, wearing PSG's new home shirt, coming on as a substitute to take a penalty instead of Vitinha. "Give the people what they want, give them Zlatan," quips the Swede's avatar with his legendary charisma.

Having played for PSG between 2012-2016, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is honoured on the Ultimate edition cover of FC 26. EA has recreated Zlatan's iconic teenage bedroom photo from his Malmö days. In EA's new version, we can notably see a framed PSG Ibrahimovic shirt on the wall alongside a photo of Ibra in Parisian colours.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is among the new icons available in EA Sports FC 26 that you can play with in Ultimate Team (alongside Andrés Iniesta, Marcelo, Francesco Totti and Oliver Kahn). There are two cards available for the Swede - one from his Ajax era, another from his PSG era, with a 92 (out of 100) rating.
This Monday, PSG and EA Sports also revealed an amusing video celebrating Zlatan Ibrahimovic's arrival in FC 26's Ultimate mode, featuring Rio Mavuba and Tony Chapron in the cast.
The game officially releases on 26th September 2025, but you can play from 19th September if you opt for the Ultimate edition.
